Tattoos - The New Blood Sacrifice

"Body art", "skin art", and "tattoo” are all used to label the result of introducing a pigment beneath one’s skin. The Otzal mummy proved that tattooing is at least 5,300 years old. Furthermore, evidence of tattooing has been found in every culture on the Earth. And while there are many reasons to be tattooed (decoration and identification for example), the ancients seemed most often to do so to forge a connection with the spirit world.

In ancient Egypt, tattoos were almost always connected with the spirits. Priests, priestesses, and devotees were the most frequent wearers of tattoos. Depictions of their gods and goddesses, and the symbols related to worship, graced their bodies. Those whose skin was too dark to sport a tattoo made scarifications (though not really tattooing, it is related to tattooing by making scar tissue in the same patterns). Thus Leviticus reads: ‘ye shall not make any cuttings on your flesh for the dead nor print any marks upon you’. (19:28) - Yahu’ah didn’t want His chosen people to bear any connections with other spirits.

On the other side of the world, the Maori also recognized the spiritual significance of tattoos. They, and all of the other Polynesian peoples, believed that one’s spirit(s) was displayed through the tattoo(s) on one’s body. They too saw the connection between tattoos and other spirits - those that could more easily enter and exit one’s body.

Since today most people get tattoos merely to decorate their body, they tend to ignore the spiritual aspect of the tattoos they get! As Rae Schwarz points out, “The modern body art renaissance has been the saving grace for many tribal tattoo styles, now being worn by people with no attachment to the symbolic histories of many of these patterns. Nonetheless, this fascination with mixed cultural tattoo styles has saved certain styles of skin art from extinction.” All too often these styles are nothing more than “welcome” signs for tribal spirits! People tend to ignore the fact that many of these styles comes with “baggage” that profoundly affects their lives!

In some cases, trouble seems to follow an individual or that individual’s friends or family after a new tattoo is completed. In some extreme cases, fatalities result! Don’t believe its coincidence - coincidences rarely happen!

Even modern styles carry a risk. Styles inspired by evil themes welcome spirits that one may wish would simply go away - but they refuse to and won‘t go until the sign is removed (exorcisms are merely temporary because the “welcome” sign is still there!)! Getting a tattoo is still recognized by most people as a “rite of passage“, but most people in this materialistic society have forgotten the significance of such a rite. The pain inflicted and the blood lost in the process is truly a sacrifice being made.

Research with due diligence the design you wish to permanently implant in your body. Make sure that the one you choose (or create for yourself) doesn’t carry any unwelcome “baggage”. Beware of graven images! If you are truly drawn to a design it should be a pleasure to find all about its history and meaning and of the symbols it incorporates. Remember that humanity didn’t create the meanings of these styles and symbols - humanity discovered them!

Tattoos can be a portal giving instant access to a particular spirit or group of spirits. Names and incantations need not be spoken to conjure a spirit when that spirit’s name(s), symbol(s), and a call to visit are already permanently implanted on one’s body! Sorcerers , witches, and even some evangelists use tattoos to maintain continual communication with daemons and other spirits. Yes, even some so-called “Christians and Jews” use tattoos for satanic purposes!

Tattoos can be removed. Such removal is also a painful process. But that is not a bad thing because the sacrifice is an atonement and removes that which is unwanted!

Conflicts

One of Satan's greatest achievements is the counterfeit conflict between science and theology. The bottom line is that anyone who is knowledgeable in both realizes that conflicts between the two are more apparent than real. When a direct translation of the Bible from the Hebrew is used, these "conflicts" all but disappear.

Attempts by Christians to restore the Bible to a more pristine state after centuries of manipulation were hampered by a lack of knowledge of the Aramaic and Hebrew languages coupled with continued anti-Jewish bias. The myth that the New Testament was originally written in Greek flourishes in spite of the fact that of all of the Apostles only Paul spoke Greek and, by his own admission, he always directed his epistles to the Jewish population of a city first and therefore wrote them in Hebrew. Despite the fact that the oldest manuscripts we now have of the New Testament are in Aramaic, the myth persists. Thus mistranslations abound in most modern Christian Bibles. Using the King James Version as an example, a rather short list of variances between the English and Hebrew follows:

1) whereas the KJV says we should “fear” God, the Hebrew says we should be in "awe" of God (So instead of a fearsome God, we have an awesome God.);

2) dragons and unicorns abound in the KJV, but only one (a dragon) is found in the Hebrew (Revelations) (Elsewhere, "dragons" are "serpents" or "monsters", and "unicorns" are "reems" = "wild oxen"!);

3) though a camel may be more spectacular, it is easier to put a thick rope through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to Heaven;

4) Phillip instructed a pilgrim from Ethiopia, not a eunuch from Ethiopia, on his way to worship in the Temple (And this makes more sense since a eunuch would not be allowed to worship in the Temple!);

5) Yah Shua (Jesus) was in Bethany at the home of Simon the jar merchant (Not Simon the leper, lepers were not allowed to reside within any city!);

6) in most places where the KJV uses the word “man”, the Hebrew uses the word “humanity” (There is no need for a gender neutral Bible!);

7) where the KJV uses the word “firmament” to describe the heavens, the Hebrew uses the word “expanse” (This is just one of the many instances in which the Hebrew and physical science agree!);

8) where the KJV uses the name “Heaven” to describe Yahu'ah’s abode, the Hebrew uses a plural noun “the heavens” (In other words, Yahu'ah lives not in a mythical place called “Heaven“ but rather lives in all of the skies above - everywhere!);

9) where the KJV uses "king", the Hebrew uses the word "sovereign" (so a prophesy might concern a President, Prime Minister, Queen, or even some ruling council as well as a King!); and

10) where the KJV has "strong drink", the Hebrew has "intoxicants" (so now amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, opium, and all other drugs must be included!).

Hopefully, this very short list will give the reader some idea of how different a truly pristine version of the Bible would look compared to what we have today. Instead of something that reads like a cavalier fairy-tale, we now have something that is realistic and relevant to all times and places. How ironic that this is the way the Bible was originally! Please remember that the examples above are but errors in translation and do not reflect those parts of the Bible that have been willfully altered to make it more suitable for the propagation of then favored cultural, political, social values, and/or religious dogma. Just as our modern versions of the Bible are! That’s why they need a committee of religious leaders to produce them!

This of course begs the question, “How are we to know what is God’s Word and what is not?” Yahu'ah and His Son, Yah Shua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ), are well aware of how the Bible has been tampered with. The Apostle John had this in mind when he wrote his warning at the end of Revelation not to add or subtract anything from that prophecy! So Yahu'ah sent to us a comforter - the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, etc.). And He promised us that if we seek we shall find. And He promised us that if we ask we shall receive. If we will only take Him up on His promises, all of Satan’s work to distort God’s Word would fail! Satan’s work to invent conflicts between the Bible, our innate sense of righteousness, and physical science (God gave us all three!) would fail! And Satan’s work to keep the Church in confusion and derision would fail!

For centuries, scholars have debated the apparent conflict between the "firmament" of Heaven mentioned in the King James Version of the Bible vs. the expanse of the heavens known by every astronomer. Many theologians staunchly defended to the end what they saw as the Bible's truth. To this day, there are Christians who insist that "firmament" is correct! Satan must still be getting a good laugh out of that one! As noted above, the Hebrew has the word "expanse" in place of the "firmament" found in the King James Version.

Just because we know how Elohim (God) did something doesn't mean He didn't do it! Critics often note that various miracles can be explained as rare but natural phenomena. I would hope so! Elohim is righteous and just! Elohim wrote ALL of the natural laws and the laws of physics! Elohim IS nature! Unlike our legislators, and those trusted to enforce our laws, Elohim REFUSES to violate His own laws! If any miracle cannot be explained as a natural phenomena, it is either a work of Satan (Revelation states false miracles shall occur in the end time), it follows a natural law we are not aware of (any good scientist will tell you that the more we learn, the more we realize we don't know!), or its a fake! Critics of Moses among the Israelites were able to cast doubt on Elohim's miracles for this very reason! Too many people expect God to act like a cheap magician! They expect our Elohim to wave a magic wand and create the Universe! I repeat, Elohim is righteous and just. He wrote the law forbidding the practice of magick (sorcery/witchcraft). He REFUSES to violate His own laws.

Besides, the Bible is meant to serve God's purpose - not ours! He did not mean the Bible to contain all of the secrets of the Universe. He meant it to be a guide for those of His children who wished to find Him. Much of the Bible is no less than our Elohim's Word communicated to those whom He favored. In some cases this is verbal communication, such as with Moses and Isaiah, or this communication may take the form of visions, such as with Daniel and John. In either case, the message is colored by the recipient's cultural and social background. As most people already know, a message consists of not only what is said, but also in what context that something was said. In any case, the cultural assumptions, symbolism, and world-view involved may easily escape the comprehension of the modern reader, whose own cultural and social background is unquestionably different from that of the original recipient who had God's Word written down.

Abraham was a Sumerian. As the Bible notes, he was from Ur of the Chaldees. Sumer produced metallurgy, monumental architecture, and writing over 500 years before the Egyptians did! And though he was of the most advanced civilization of his time (indeed, the very first civilization!), compared to modern folk he was grossly ignorant! Moses was Abraham's cultural as well as biological heir. Though civilization had progressed significantly by the time of Moses (he had the knowledge of Egypt as well as Sumer), he too was incredibly ignorant compared to modern people. This is not to insult either of these great and blessed men. In their day, NO ONE could equal their knowledge and wisdom or God's grace.

In Genesis we can see the imprint of Sumer. More than a thousand years before Moses, Sumerian writers were writing about Adam and Eve and Noah. In almost all respects except one are these tails similar to those recorded in the Bible - they refer to their pagan gods instead of our Elohim. And just as the Egyptians indicated the importance of a person by depicting him or her larger than everyone else in the picture, the Sumerians indicated importance by age. The Sumerian king lists noted kings that lived to be almost a thousand years old. We know these to be imaginary ages because we have the remains of some of those kings to study as well as contemporary records. It was a cultural thing.

Was Noah's flood world-wide? Yes and no! There is NO evidence of a world-wide flood. But there is ample evidence of many catastrophically huge regional floods that afflicted this planet within a relatively short period of time. These floods were the result of a sudden melting of the glaciers at the end of the last ice age almost ten thousand years ago. Did Elohim cause these floods? You can bet on it. Did He warn Noah of what was coming? That's another good bet. Was all of the world under water? As far as Noah was concerned it was!

Was the Universe created in seven days? Depends upon on how one defines a "day". The Bible itself says that to God a thousand years is as a single day. This has led to numerous theories by students of numerology (also forbidden by God's law!) as to the timing of our Elohim's plans. Unfortunately for them, they ignore the rest of these passages which also compare a thousand years to a "watch in the night" (traditionally about two hours long!). The point these scriptures are trying to get across to the reader is that Yahu'ah's sense of time is far different than ours. This shouldn't be surprising since He is eternal and we live but a few decades. So what if He took billions of years to create the Universe as it is today. The very fact that He has been around infinitely longer than that is awesome in itself! Besides, as was said before - His purpose for the Bible does NOT include revealing all the secrets of the Universe.

Now lets look at the theory of evolution and Adam and Eve. Once again so called "experts" seem to ignore or overlook scripture that doesn't support their views. First of all, scripture says that man was created from "the dust of the ground". Doesn't this sound very close to scientists' view that all life was created from primordial elements on the Earth? The theory of evolution states that all life had a common source. So does the Bible. So where is the conflict? The Bible states that Yahu'ah created man last. The theory of evolution says the same! Anthropological evidence shows that the first homo sapien sapiens (modern humans) were found in the Middle East. The Garden of Eden was between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers in the Middle East. So where is the conflict? The Bible says man was to REPLINISH the Earth. So what was man replacing? The Bible doesn't say, but now we know!

Adam and Eve were the first homo sapien sapiens. It was they that first crossed the threshold from other homo sapiens to modern humanity. Finally, God had something with which to work with. Something with a soul. Something finally intelligent enough to teach His ways. It was no accident that the very first civilization flowered between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers! It was no accident that Abraham was a member of that civilization. It would still take thousands of years of further evolution before humanity could be ready to accept His Spirit, but at least He could begin His work with them. Remember, Elohim IS nature! Natural selection is God's selection! Evolution is the method by which our Adonai Elohim (Lord God) used to create us! Now just because we know how He did it doesn't mean He didn't do it! And don't let Satan tell you otherwise!
